Monument aux maquisards

This monument was erected on the first anniversary of the execution of 7 maquisards on 27 May 1944. This wooded area was home to an FTP maquisard camp called Camp des Loups. The 7 young Maquis were massacred by German troops in the area where the monument was erected.

During the 60th anniversary ceremonies, a plaque with the names of other FTPs from the area, who fell in other places and under other circumstances, was erected.
