THEME: LIES AND TRUTH.
SPEAKERS
Marie-France Marbach : Glotter-trottter with a "fire for tales".
Innocent Yapi: A cheerful, spring-loaded storyteller.
Two storytellers with a wealth of experience, who have travelled together from Alsace to Burgundy and shared adventures in the Antipodes: Contes au pré, a nomadic storytelling festival in the Indian Ocean in Madagascar, the Seychelles, the Comoros, at the Sous les étoiles Chinguetti festival in Mauritania, and the Contes givrés festival in Burgundy.
PARTICIPANTS
This course is open to anyone who wants to feel more at ease speaking in public. Lovers of storytelling, discovery and experimentation.
OBJECTIVES
Based on the discovery of tales and stories selected by the presenters on the theme of "Lies and Truth":
- Make a story your own, tell it in a lively way, without a written support, using your voice, your body and your personality.
- Develop your imagination and creativity.
- Cultivating memory.
Exploring the different aspects of storytelling for collective creation:
- Discovering a place, a space, defining its limits.
- Taking the floor in front of an audience (multi-voice storytelling).
- Welcoming and surprising the audience.
CONTENTS
Practical group exercises
- Developing your expressiveness to bring out the individuality of each person, their body, voice and rhythm, and listening to silence.
- Take over a performance space and put yourself in a situation of active listening.
Discovering how to make a story your own
- Primary meaning and hidden meaning.
- Developing the narrative framework and important elements.
- Helping to memorise: places, characters, actions, intentions, images, sensations, etc.
- Presence of the body, eyes and voice.
- Rhythm and musicality of stories.
All-round collective creation with performance for the festival audience.
- Taking into account the nature of the event.
