Portes ouvertes de jardins privés

Private gardens are being opened to the public for the benefit of Jardins & Santé.

There are 7 gardens opening their doors, including 3 in the Brionnais region of southern Burgundy:

> Jardin Secret in La Clayette: a 4,000m2 walled garden with an Italian-style courtyard.

> Jardin Paradis de Mamili in Saint Laurent en Brionnais: a flower paradise with a permaculture vegetable garden.

> Jardin d'AmanzéArt in Amanzé: an English-style garden created by 2 ceramic artists and a painter.

Open gardens, generous gardens. For "Jardins & Santé", private owners agree to open their gardens to raise funds.

Since the association was set up, many garden owners have generously welcomed visitors who are delighted to be able to discover these secret and charming gardens, which only open once or twice a year, in spring and/or autumn.

These visits gave garden lovers a chance to meet up informally, exchange 'recipes' and stories, and even cuttings and seeds.

Many thanks to these generous owners!

It's worth remembering that the proceeds from these visits help to finance the grants that Jardins & Santé awards for the creation of therapeutic gardens in hospitals and medical/social establishments for people suffering from brain diseases, Alzheimer's disease, etc.
