Formed in Paris in 2016, Trio PANTOUM has established itself as one of the most sought-after ensembles of its generation. Winners of numerous international competitions - Munich (ARD), Vienna (Haydn), Lyon, Trieste, Melbourne, Osaka - it now performs on the greatest stages, from the Philharmonie de Paris to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, via the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.

Its name, inspired by a Malay poetic form taken up by RAVEL, reflects its artistic approach: rigour, breath, and the construction of a collective discourse. Guided by Claire DESERT, the WANDERER Trio, Miguel Da SILVA, Corina BELCEA, Hatto BEYERLE, Johannes MEISSL, Patrick JUDT and Xavier GAGNEPAIN, its work is as demanding as that of the string quartet.

In April 2025, MODERN TIMES was released by La Dolce Volta, a critically acclaimed debut album (Le Monde, Télérama, The Strad) featuring ARENSKY, RAVEL and SRNKA. The PANTOUM Trio will soon be performing in London (Wigmore Hall), Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), Copenhagen and Ankara (Bilkent Concert Hall). The Trio PANTOUM is a laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire, artist in residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac, and is supported by the Fondation Safran pour la Musique.
