This musical programme entitled FANFARE POUR UNE DIVA is performed by the brass quintet of the Dijon Bourgogne orchestra conducted by Joseph BASTIAN. It highlights famous arias from operas and musicals such as La Traviata, Carmen, La Bohème, Turandot, West Side Story and La la Land. Through musical interventions and readings by musicians, the show pays tribute to the divas, those emblematic female figures of opera and musical theatre.
"And yet... this evening, there's no diva on stage.
Just us: five musicians and a brass quintet.
Perhaps this evening our instruments will speak for themselves.
And pay tribute to those who, by singing of love, have become immortal.
