***
This quartet has the unique characteristic of being made up of 4 brothers and sisters who have been playing together since they were very young. This immersion at the heart of chamber music has enabled them to develop a natural way of playing, a collective breath. In its first international competition in 2018, the TCHALIK Quartet brilliantly won the First Prize at the Salzburg Mozart Competition.
It then performed in France at renowned festivals and venues (Salle Gaveau, Théâtre des Champs Elysées). Invited to perform internationally, he has visited Amsterdam, Cologne and Dresden and toured China.
He is regularly heard on France Musique and Radio Classique.
As well as performing all over the world, the TCHALIK Quartet has founded its own label, ALKONOST CLASSIC.
The quartet plays on instruments made by luthier Philippe Mitéran and with bows by Konstantin Cheptiski specially made for the quartet.
The members of the TCHALIK Quartet regularly perform as a quintet with their pianist brother Dania TCHALIK.
