INFORMATION 2026 TO COME...

To the trees, citizens! It sounds like a slogan. Of course, defending the forest resonates in a rural area like ours. Who hasn't reacted when faced with a forest felled by clear-cutting?

So, yes, among the 30 films and documentaries that the programming team is offering you this year, there are films about the forest and its defence, about the love of nature and about ecological awareness, but not only that. Getting closer to nature also means rediscovering life and love, questioning the meaning of what we do and the role of citizens, about fraternity or the risks of its absence.

The number of documentaries presented this year testifies to the importance of these questions here, elsewhere and now.

We are also offering four films for young people and a number of comedies, so that everyone can make their own choice from the programme.

As every year, we'll be welcoming a number of directors to talk about their work, including Isabelle Halvoët, director of the opening night documentary, Anne Faisandier, Pierre Carles and Valérie Gaudissart and Lucie Moraillon, with whom we'll be discussing the film they're currently working on.

The refreshment bar and its team of volunteers, the exhibitions in and around the church and the many activities surrounding the festival will all be great places to meet up.

The amateur short film competition will be an opportunity to discover the talent of several film enthusiasts. The filmmaking workshop (before the festival) and the radio workshop (during the festival) will provide an opportunity to explore and learn about image and sound techniques.

We look forward to seeing you all from 30 July to 3 August in the cinemas or under the stars in Donzy-le-National and La Vineuse to celebrate our love of nature and cinema together!
