Exposition Enys Mahjoub - Dibagations en Bourgogne - Franche-Comté

After studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Besançon, where he is originally from, Enys Mahjoub turned to the wine industry, a field he discovered while harvesting grapes in the Jura, and which led him to Burgundy, first in the Yonne and then, since January 2025, in Chalon-sur-Saône. It is this same environment that has led him to pay close attention to his surroundings, observing the changing light and colours of nature, the constant transformation of plants as the seasons change...

With camera in hand and GPS switched off, Enys Mahjoub enjoys exploring his adopted region. Through his photographs, he invites us to discover a different kind of Burgundy, one that is open to us when we agree to get lost, to stop at the side of the road, to get away from the major tourist sites, or quite simply to look at a familiar place from a different angle.

Accepting to get lost means taking the risk of surprise. And maybe that's the best way to find your way!
