Dans la cour - peau de chagrin
[DANSLACOUR] is the place to be when the weather's nice: the courtyard of LaPéniche, an open-air stage, sunshine, a cold beer... and above all, good music.
A simple, warm atmosphere, the perfect recipe for aperitifs that stretch into the evening.
Peau de Chagrin
< Chanson franchement réaliste - Chalon-sur-Saône >
Peau de Chagrin, a duo made up of a singer and an accordionist, have been exploring the realist chanson scene for ten years. With their mix of slang, slapstick and melancholy, they bring back the soul of the streets, the bistros and the cabarets. Their raw, poetic and sometimes provocative show takes you on a journey of raw emotion, between laughter and tears, in the tradition of the great popular singers.
Phil K, his voice cracked with dark tobacco and strong alcohol, cap on the corner of his eye, microphone clenched in his fists, he sings and declaims with glibness and sincerity. Slightly provocative, but never mean. And Mau Desbois, the calmest of the duo - there has to be one! On the accordion, that "piano with braces", he conjures up tears, rousing melodies and chorus-like refrains in just a few notes.
