La Ferme de la forêt, a traditional Bresse farm with a Saracen chimney, has set up shop on the Esplanade Lamartine to help you discover the building techniques and skills of yesteryear that reflect today's concerns. Through fun and educational workshops, learn the secrets of clay, or learn the principles of weaving by making your own hemp bracelet.

After two years of restoration work by Grand Bourg Agglomération, the Ferme de la forêt in Courtes bears witness to the ingenuity and resilience of our ancestors. Earth and wood architecture, farming practices and food preservation are all revealed during the visit. It's an inspiring journey, where the past sheds light on the issues of today.
