Le Vieux Clocher
The Old Bell Tower is a vestige of the former Romanesque church dating from the late 11th century; it was restored in 2012.
The only vestige of the old church, the Vieux Clocher (Old Bell Tower) was listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1942. All that remains of this 11th-12th century Romanesque church are the apse, the choir and the bell tower. Thanks to renovation work initiated by the town council and the Saint-Martin-Belle-Pierre association between 2010 and 2012, the Old Bell Tower has been given a new lease of life. Viewing boxes fixed to the façade reveal the classical ornamental paintings decorating the apse and choir.
