Hôtel-Dieu

Hospital building dating from the early 18th century comprising an apothecary and an administrator's room.

In 1625, a major bequest enabled the Hôpital Notre-Dame to be founded. This was replaced in 1703 by the present-day Hôtel-Dieu, built on the initiative of Cardinal de Bouillon, the 55th abbot of Cluny.

Unguided tours of the chapel and the Salle Saint-Lazare are no longer possible. Only guided tours by the association are possible.

Guided tours (by appointment only) include the following rooms

- the former pharmacy, with its apothecary, its collections of earthenware and pharmaceutical porcelain (16th to 19th centuries), its pewter and its copper,

- the administrators' room with its furniture, portrait gallery and the double-sided painting of the Holy Women at the Tomb and Saint George Slaying the Dragon, a work attributed to Grégoire GUERARD.
