Eglise Saint-Martin

The bell tower of this church, dedicated to Saint Martin, is original, with its roof clad in tavaillons (a type of wooden tile) from the mountains.

The façade, partly hidden by two prunus trees with red foliage, arcs around the Place Saint Martin, formerly a cemetery.

The door with its moulded panels is dominated by an oculus. A cross adorns the gable end. The bell tower of this church dedicated to Saint Martin is particularly original. Each side, pierced with large bays bearing the bell shades, is covered with tavaillon cladding (a type of wooden tile) like that found in mountain regions such as Savoie or the nearby Jura. It ends in a short pyramid topped by an iron cross.

The interior of the church has a very simple layout, with a nave extended by the choir, which is the oldest part. The wrought-iron Communion table separates the two sections.
