Reconstruction project by an architect from Chalon, unanimously adopted by the city council and the factory council, and completed in 1863.
The then church, whose three naves cover an area of 285 square meters, barely suffices for the population of 930 inhabitants, the side aisles are covered with tiles, the nave and the choir in slabs of considerable weight, the lavas of the choir rests on a masonry vault, that of the nave on paneling.
