Eglise Saint-Etienne

The church of Saint-Etienne de Chiddes has preserved the Romanesque transept, bell tower and apse in cul-de-four. The nave has been rebuilt.

It is obviously for its transept, its bell tower and its cul-de-four apse from the Romanesque period (1st half of the 12th century) that we must come and admire this beautiful little Romanesque church whose nave had to be rebuilt. Chiddes is also a very peaceful village, in a privileged setting of which this architectural heritage of the Middle Ages constitutes the pearl.
