Eglise Notre-Dame
Major parish church of the city, the Notre-Dame church is a beautiful gothic building of the 13th century. It was used in the 15th century as a depository for weights and measures.
Notre Dame Church is the town’s main parish church in the heart of the town centre. The urban power, often in disagreement with that of the abbot, had set up its first town hall in this square. The church is a fine Gothic building, the porch of which spread out onto the square and was destroyed just before the French Revolution. Inside, the architectural homogeneity is quite remarkable and a beautiful light lights up this very stark building that Pidou-Berlu watches over.
