Chapelle de Sancenay

Sancenay is an ancient seigniorial fief belonging to a branch of the lords of Semur-en-Brionnais. Its chapel was entirely redecorated after 1626 by the new lord of the place, the Marquis de Tenay, also lord of Saint-Christophe. The painted decorations on the ceiling are remarkable and form a unique ensemble in the Brionnais.
