Circuit coup de cœur - Paysages de vignes
This tour, built around two loops to the north and south of Mâcon, winds its way through the Mâconnais, Burgundy's largest vineyard, and the northern Crus of neighboring Beaujolais. It passes through the region's emblematic winegrowing villages, including the Chardonnay village that gave its name to the famous grape variety.
The northern loop, through vineyards, crops and woods, and the Viré-Clessé region, offers an authentic countryside setting.
To the south of Mâcon, the route takes in the terroirs of Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru, Pouilly-Loché, Pouilly-Vinzelles and finishes, between white and red, in the lands of Saint-Véran and Saint-Amour.
This succession of appellations holds a wealth of ?nological discoveries in store for those who take the time to stop off at the many estates and wineries along the way.
To make the most of this adventure, we suggest you plan this tour over at least 2 days.
