Sculpture " L’esprit de la musique"

Bernard Morot-Gaudry's sculpture is the village's ambassador. His work is entitled L'esprit de la musique. It was created in response to a competition launched by Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche Town Hall in May 2002, in which several sculptors entered their talents. Sculptor Bernard Morot-Gaudry created the work in Buxy stone, which stands almost 2 metres high. The work features an anthropomorphic form accompanied by a stringed instrument. The unfinished aspect is explained by the duration of the competition: 1 month to bring the stone to life.
