Moulin de Lugny
The mill dates back to the 11th century, but has been gradually renovated over the last 25 years.
The mill is a building dating back to the 11th century, abandoned at the end of 1969 by its last active miller, but which has been gradually renovated over the last 25 years. In 2011, an impressive wheel, 6m in diameter and weighing almost 7t, was installed, along with the gears and millstones. In 2013, an electric generator was installed to generate electricity. The mill site offers a lovely view of the reach of the River Arconce, as well as a picnic area.
A bread-making workshop is on offer, ideal for schoolchildren: everyone goes home with a loaf of bread.
