Les Jardins d'Avril

The forest garden was designed and planted with local residents in partnership with the association La Forêt Gourmande.

The tree and shrub seedlings were chosen for their resilience to climate change and for their taste quality. A dry hedge and a composting plot enable organic waste from the garden and residents to be processed.

The forest garden is open to all, and nature, gardening, educational and cultural activities are organised on a regular basis.

The forest garden features a range of perennial edible species (fruit, seeds, tubers, foliage, flowers, medicinal plants, beehive products, etc.) that require little maintenance and make the system sustainable.

Make the most of this green space in fine weather for a picnic before resuming your tour! An area with benches is available to all.
