Le Lutin Vert
In the Chalonnais vineyards, in a small village, this pretty stone house has been entirely restored.
Christine and Florent welcome you to an elegant, authentic, traditional farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, steeped in history and meticulously restored with respect for the original structure and craftsmanship. Nestled peacefully on the edge of a charming, leafy square, it lies in the heart of a picturesque, typical village with old-world charm (which in the 19th century was home to one of the eleven stations of the pioneering Chappe telegraph). Perched on a gentle hill in the rolling countryside, this tranquil village enjoys a bucolic and unspoiled natural setting (within a vast protected area designated as a ZNIEFF for its rich flora and fauna), between hedged meadows, rivers, vineyard slopes, and beautiful wild forests. Just a stone's throw from the large lakes and ponds of Le Creusot, it offers sublime, picture-postcard landscapes and exceptional panoramas (even Mont Blanc in the background on a clear day!). A spacious and very comfortable gîte. Spacious living area. Warm, "neo-rustic" charm, blending tradition and modernity, enhanced by a rare and meticulous heritage restoration (magnificent fireplace mantel, stone sink, stone walls and lintels, molded wooden built-in cupboard, French-style beams and ceilings, superb timber frame upstairs, numerous original architectural features, etc.). Full of charm and character. Pleasant, private garden nestled at the rear of the house.
