Le Karadok’inn Spa
Aline & Yann (organic farmers and operators of the nearby "Grand Karadok" farm) open the doors to a charming, fully restored 19th-century Morvan farmhouse, nestled in a peaceful hillside on a south-east-facing slope, on the edge of a picturesque rural mini hamlet. Magnificent, unspoilt setting of total nature & greenery, overlooking a bucolic, wooded valley of meadows home in season to the owner's peaceful Angus & Wagyu ("Kobe beef") cows, on the edge of an immense, unspoilt wild forest. A literal haven of peace & rest nestled in a soothing "postcard landscape" of gentle rolling mountains, 100% rejuvenating & relaxing. Possibility of observing wildlife on site (deer, wild boar, foxes, squirrels, etc.). Comfortable gîte. Cosy country feel, with a blend of gentle rusticity and unusual "fifties" touches (magnificent terrazzo floor), enhanced by the soul of the original building (stone fireplace mantel & beams). A cosy ambience combined with the exotic soul of an old house. Pleasant, enclosed garden with natural mowing (partly sloping). Atypical sheltered outdoor spa & vast covered terrace nestling under a voluminous "cathedral"-style courtyard offering an unusual "mini petanque court". Beautiful unobstructed views over the surrounding countryside.
