Absolute tranquility in the heart of the unspoiled countryside of gentle mountains, on the edge of the Beaujolais and Brionnais hills (a protected area designated as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), at the foot of the Dun mountain, steeped in legends and mysteries (home to a 12th-century Romanesque chapel at 708m and boasting a magnificent panoramic view of up to 35 church steeples on a clear day!), not far from the Mussy-sous-Dun viaduct (an iconic 19th-century railway engineering marvel).
