Nestled in an exceptional landscape, in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyards overlooked by the wooded ridges of a protected forest massif, designated a Natura 2000 site and a ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Écologique, Faunistique et Floristique) for its rich fauna and flora.
