La Maisonnette
In the Bresse Bourguignonne area, self-contained gîte, in village, near the owner.
Paulette and Aimé welcome you to their property, a restored barn, in the heart of Baudrières, a typical small village. Nestled in the countryside between the Bresse region of Burgundy and the Chalonnais, Baudrières is the only town in France to bear this name. It boasts an exceptional leisure complex (an unusual and rare baseball field, football pitch, tennis courts, basketball court, children's playground, fitness trail, etc.), a listed Romanesque church dating from the 11th century, and a peaceful, landscaped water feature ("Étang de la Verne"), which is both a renowned fishing pond and a place for relaxation and walks ("protected ecological wetland" with an educational trail and picnic area). The surrounding area offers a pleasant environment with varied landscapes, combining unspoiled nature, viticulture, and agriculture, including vineyards, hedged meadows, idyllic ponds, rivers, and beautiful wild forests (perfect for leisurely walks or bike rides). Comfortable cottage with the rustic charm of a traditional country house. Sheltered "mini-terrace" opening onto a private garden.
