In an old barn typical of local rural architecture built in 1810, 5 guest rooms have been converted to accommodate up to 15 people (5 people in the extra beds). Each room is decorated in a different style and has its own private bathroom with bath or shower and toilet.
On the ground floor, the largest of the stables has been converted into a vast living area of over 80 m², with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. Breakfast and evening meals are served here. You can also prepare your own meals here, and get together with family or friends in a "gîte" setting.
Outside, a vast 6,000 m² garden with a car park, a large grassy area, a vegetable garden, beehives and centuries-old oak trees invites you to relax.
Just 17 minutes from the A6 motorway (exit 29 Mâcon sud) and 2 km from the N79 (exit 7), this is an ideal stopover or reunion point at the crossroads of the north-south and east-west routes.
La Grange de La Ferdière is the ideal place to discover Southern Burgundy, from prehistoric times (Solutré rock) to modern times (Maison des patrimoines in Matour), via the Middle Ages (Cluny Abbey, the châteaux of Cormatin, Berzé-le-Chatel, Brancion, de Lamartine in Saint-Point, masterpieces of Romanesque art, etc.). Southern Burgundy also boasts a wealth of gastronomic delights, including Charolais cattle rearing, the vineyards of the Mâconnais (including the famous Pouilly-Fuissé appellation) and Beaujolais, goat's cheese, etc. Last but not least, the region boasts magnificent bocage landscapes, hiking trails, the greenway, bathing areas (swimming pools, Lac de Saint-Point) and amusement and zoological parks (Touroparc, Hameau du Vin, etc.).
