Entre Pins et Vignes
Christine & Michel welcome you to an authentic late 19th century wine building, carefully restored and steeped in history (once linked to the neighboring wine estate still in operation), nestled on the edge of the vines of the famous "Saint-Amour" vintage, in a peaceful little rural & wine-growing hamlet, a stone's throw from the picturesque, charming, perfectly preserved village of Saint-Amour-Bellevue. In the heart of unspoiled countryside (partly protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna & flora), close to a large wild forest massif, at the crossroads of the vineyards of northern Beaujolais ("UNESCO Global Geopark") & the Côtes Mâconnaises, neighboring the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy producing both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais wines). Magnificent landscaped setting, nestled in a sublime rolling wine-growing landscape, perched on a hillside on a vast, exposed plateau covered in vineyards, offering sumptuous panoramic viewpoints of the Saône Valley, the Alps, and even Mont Blanc on a clear day! Very comfortable room. Warm country character with contemporary accents, enhanced by an elegant original stone wall. Cozy atmosphere. Pleasant private terrace, exposed and shaded, nestled "courtyard side" (planted and flowered). Access to the owners' west-facing garden with a large terrace, a Nordic bath, and a beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding vineyards and mountains (for breakfast on sunny days).
