Professional winemakers Justine and Barthélémy welcome you to an authentic, typical 18th-century farmhouse, steeped in history (once a hospice for Napoleonic soldiers), carefully restored and nestled on the edge of the vineyard on their family estate (which also houses a friendly little restaurant). They cultivate their land according to organic farming principles (AOC Mâconnais, renowned for its Chardonnay grape variety, including the prestigious Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran wines; vineyard tours and tastings are available). Located on a narrow lane, it lies in the heart of the picturesque and peaceful village center of Fuissé, a charming wine-growing village in the rolling Mâconnais countryside (a protected ZNIEFF area for its rich flora and fauna). A stunningly beautiful landscaped setting nestled in a bucolic amphitheater of vineyards, overlooked by the wooded ridges of a Natura 2000 protected site, not far from vast, wild, and preserved forests. The cottage offers excellent comfort. Spacious and bright, it boasts a warm, rustic charm with contemporary touches. This unique and exotic "country loft" is enhanced by the majestic centuries-old timber frame and stone wall of the original structure, as well as by an unusual comic-strip-style mural (created on-site by a local artist). Full of charm, it offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. A pleasant private garden opens onto the vineyards, offering beautiful, unobstructed views.
