The house, totally atypical in its age, architecture and decoration, should appeal to the most curious. Non-standard, with no classification other than that of Historic Monument.

The Maison Sévigné is 550 years old, with a carved wooden façade. It has just benefited from a major restoration campaign thanks to the Mission Stéphane BERN / Loto du Patrimoine.

It was originally a guest house built by a nobleman to welcome prestigious guests: perhaps Louise de Lorraine and Henri III, the Marquise de Sévigné and soon you!

Your suite is accessed via a tower, and the spacious, light-filled and peaceful first floor is entirely dedicated to you.

Your neighbour will be the famous Beurdin, which sets the rhythm of the hours from the belfry window, from 7am to 10pm.

Your breakfast will be made with homemade products.

In an old, pedestrianised district that is both quiet at night and bustling with tourists during the day, you'll stroll through the narrow streets, squares and gardens, feeling relaxed and at peace. To enhance this feeling of serenity, Isabelle offers deep relaxation sessions.

Isabelle, your hostess, will give you a warm welcome as she shares with you the rich history of the house: "Once upon a time".

With a background in tourism, your hostess will be able to advise you on sightseeing and leisure activities, and the Tourist Office next door will be happy to provide any further information you may need.

The house is a stone's throw from parks and nature walks in the middle of our Charolais meadows.

Lovers of heritage, nature and water will love this spa resort, which also boasts a balneotherapy centre and a public swimming pool in the heart of nature.

In the old town, just outside the belfry, you'll find shops, cafés and restaurants.
