Au bord de la Gande
In love and perfect ambassadors of their territory, Jean-Luc and Chantal welcome you to a former oil mill, fully and carefully restored, along the Gande River and a stone's throw from a magnificent little medieval bridge. Nestled in the hollow of a valley, this cottage offers a magnificent, relaxing and unobstructed view of a hilly and wooded landscape specific to the Clunisois and Charolais. This village has several marked trails and a remarkable "sensitive natural area" classified within the Bois de la Roche where fauna and flora are abundant. A mini "green belt" along the Gande hosts an arboretum listing around a hundred species, a conservation orchard as well as a sports trail and a playground for children. The tombs of Lucie and Raymond Aubrac also tell a more contemporary story revolving around the Resistance and the maquisards hidden in this magnificent wooded and bucolic territory. Comfortable, bright, and perfectly located cottage with a contemporary country feel. The pleasant 400m² enclosed, landscaped, and flowery garden features a large, shaded terrace, a small part of which is located at the back of the house! Ideal for enjoying the coolness of the river and for fishing enthusiasts.
