Vers les pâtures du sud Morvan

Discover the pastures and forests of the Sud-Morvan from the Col du Rebout, at the foot of Mont-Beuvray and the archaeological site of the ancient Gallic oppidum of Bibracte, with its museum. From the Bibracte museum parking lot, turn left towards Glux en Glenne (watch out for traffic).

L?Eschenault: At the first fork in the road, go straight ahead towards Moulins Engilbert on the D18. Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and Mont Beuvray.

At Le Puits, turn left onto the D27 and descend towards the La Roche valley, bordered by meadows. Turn left again onto the D507, and stay on this road through Petiton. Go around Le Beuvray via Montvernot, straight on at Le Crot des Hâtes, continue to Le Treux. View of Château de La Roche, which dominates the valley at Larochemillay.

Turn left, then immediately right to climb up to the village of Larochemillay.

Larochemillay: go back down and turn right onto the D192. Go straight on 3 times to Ettevaux.

At Ettevaux, a pretty château, turn left, then right twice. Take the small road on the left, then the first on the right. Turn left around Château de Villette, then right towards Poil. Château du Mousseau.

Turn left towards Poil, mill and pretty little church. Don't forget your souvenir photo in Poil!

After the church, turn left, then immediately right towards Corcelles. Straight ahead, Cognières pond on your right. Pass Château Concley, then La Palissade, on your right. Then take the first right, passing Montandé, le Bas du Jeu (Château de Jeu), Maison Neuve, turn left. Follow the D114, past Etang de Poisson (Gallic pond).

Etang de Poisson, continue straight on to Saint Léger sous Beuvray (shops). At the square, turn left onto the D3 towards Bibracte. Last effort, climb 2 km to Bibracte. Go straight on, do not turn into Poil, pass Corlon, la Bise à l'âne, le Poirier au Chien. The museum parking lot is on the left.
