Venez découvrir le village de Baudemont
By bike or on foot, follow the small road that goes down to the stream 'le Merloux' ! A path, on your left, will make you pass "under the Grillet wood" that you will bypass by taking the small road to join "the old village" with sparse dwellings... There, you will notice some old houses with their wells, dry-stone Brionnais walls used as fences and crosses, one of which is located in the old cemetery...
After a detour, in the north of the village, by a pastoral path, you will come back near the Old Village and will be able to discover the "Vieux Lavoir" (Old Washhouse) still in water and well flowered in the beautiful season... Don't hesitate to take a break there !
The next part of the route will allow you to discover the "Croix du Pelon" (in fact "la Croix de Vèvres") with its bas-reliefs... Then you will pass "Au Paradis" ... (Yes, yes!!!) It is the name of the district from which, by a small detour, you will be able to admire "La Tour du Paradis" so beautiful in the sunset!
You will be able to complete your journey by following a small and quiet road, lined with oak and ash trees, in the hamlet of Verfay.
