Tout là-haut
- A beautiful panorama welcomes you at 420 m of altitude at the beginning of this loop n° 6 near the town hall of SAINT-MARTIN-DU-TARTRE.
- Turn right, before the cemetery, in the direction of Collongette and follow the narrow shady paths that will lead you to an old gatekeeper's house.
- On your left, take a path that runs parallel to the old railway line between Etiveau and MONTCHANIN, which is still visible in places.
- A small stream leads you to Maizeray where you can stroll and discover beautiful Burgundian houses.
- Cut the road and cross this important hamlet on its entire length.
- Take a small road which will become a path rising gently towards the village of SAINT-MARTIN-DU-TARTRE.
- On your right you will discover the village of GENOUILLY. Further on, the hamlet of Pras and the village of VAUX-EN-PRE seem quite peaceful at the bottom of a beautiful valley? but? the noise of a TGV will remind you of the reality of modernism.
- On your left, you will discover the murgers and cadoles of the A.O.C. vineyard producing good white and red wines sold at the GENOUILLY cellar.
- Turn left for a last climb to reach the village of SAINT-MARTIN-DU-TARTRE at 430 m and its 11th century Romanesque church, with its 30 m high stone spire visible from many points around.
