Tour de Vannas
This circuit is part of a series of bocage landscapes offering numerous views of the Grosne valley and the Charolais, Mâconnais and Beaujolais mountains.
From the Tourist Office, walk to the church and turn left onto the Chemin de la Rolle to the "Croix de la Garde" intersection.
Turn right towards Champ Grillet. At the crossroads near the hamlet of La Villette, continue straight ahead on the track that descends into the undergrowth, and 200 m further on, turn right. Cross a cool valley before reaching the Grand Grillet intersection.
Take the gravel path to the right, then to the left to reach the intersection in Golaine.
At the intersection, turn right up the road, then right again on a track to the Ardillats intersection.
At the crossroads, fork left towards Combe au Ciel and the Tour de Vannas path. Magnificent views of the Beaujolais mountains and the Grosne valley. Rejoin the 213 departmental road to return to Tramayes via the cemetery, Les Farges, the church and the Tourist Office.
