Sentier Lucienne Haese dite "Lulu du Morvan"

During this walk, you'll discover the many different species of trees thanks to the "Find the intruder" game.

You'll cross the Montmain forest, identifying and ticking off the tree species along the way.

This trail was created by the CM2 class from the Bouteiller school in Autun, with the CPIE de Bourgogne, as part of the "Aire Terrestre Educative" project.

Departure point: parking de la pierre de Couhard.

This itinerary begins with an approach walk along the road that climbs to the top of the village of Couhard, as far as the inn.

Cross this road and continue across it. Then pass the last two houses before the forest. The trailhead is about 50 m further on.

The trail is less than 1 km long and features some 20 different species of tree. It ends at the Montmain sheepfold.

The return journey can be made either via the Brisecou waterfall, the chemin des chèvres (goat path) or the chemin des 3 belettes (weasel path), which leads back to the start of the botanical trail.
