Promenade du plateau
This long loop will take you through the hamlets of Saisy and offer beautiful views over the Drée Valley.
- Take the road down beside the town hall, towards Collonge-la-Madeleine.
- Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead (uphill) for 1 km. At the top of the hill, take the path on the left at the bottom of the clearing with huts and follow the main path for 1.7 km until you reach the road, which you follow on the left for 1.8 km.
- In Sivry, turn right onto the D136, follow it for 1 km, then take the road on the left.
- Pass Château de la Tour, cross the main road, then go through the hamlet of Changey without leaving the tarmac, keeping left at the small well.
- Then turn right at the crossroads, right in front of the wash-house and right to leave the hamlet.
- Follow the road downhill for 1.4 km to La Gare.
- Take the left-hand path just before the house and bridge, and follow it through the woods for 1 km, uphill to the main road, which you cross. Take the minor road opposite to return to the Saisy church and the starting point.
* Variant : In Sivry, turn left towards Saisy. 300 m further on, keep left and continue straight on, leaving the hamlet on a track which descends for 1.3 km to Le Gibot. Cross the hamlet and, at the end, take the road to the right which leads back up to the village of Saisy.
