As soon as you leave Saint-Christophe, this loop takes you through preserved rural farm buildings and sumptuous viewpoints, on a balcony above the bocage and the village of Oyé, birthplace of the Charolais breed. After discovering the Sancenay chapel, the climb back up the ridge offers magnificent views towards Oyé and beyond. The leisurely return to Saint-Christophe passes through the Fontaine Saint-Martin valley, source of the Belaine river, and Montsac, a Mecca for learning about the Romanesque heritage of the Charolais and Brionnais regions.
Tables and benches have been set up along the way.
