Notre-Dame de l'Aillant

Take the D2 to the north and cross the village. After 500 m, turn left at the cross of the hamlet of Joux. Drive 100 m and turn right at the second cross. You arrive on the D2, cross it and take the tarred road in front of you. After 100 m, turn left on a small path that joins the D2 again, which you cross again to take the path that goes up towards Notre Dame de l'Aillant. At 700 m in the ascent we find a path on the left which after 50 m leads us to the statue of the Virgin and to the viewpoint (admire it...). Go back and turn left to join the yellow markers. The path goes up to the forest road, there turn left. Be careful, go 20 m and turn left before the ONF barrier. Go down through the forest for 1km then walk 50m on the part common to the GR 13 and turn right. Follow the path for 100 m, ford a stream. Be careful, go on for 100 m and turn right in front of a meadow. After 200 m, turn left, ford another stream and continue on the path for 850 m. When you reach the road, turn left; go over the bridge and take the left-hand path Les Grelodots. Continue to the cross, turn right to join the D2. Turn right and go back to the town hall.
