- At about 200 m, take the path that goes to the left and bypasses the Mont Péjus by the north. The path goes down towards Saint Gengoux.

- Turn right at the post "Le Colombier", towards the cellar. Take the GR76 in front of it.

- The path goes along the foothills of Mont Péjus (its summit is mentioned halfway along the path by a sign). The short vegetation is characteristic (limestone lawns). After a calvary, the circuit leads to Burnand (classified natura 2000 site), with a view on the Castle, an astonishing medieval pastiche. The church of the 11th century preserves traces of wall paintings of which a Christ in majesty at the level of its apse in cul de four.
