Les trois châteaux

At the start of the loop, you can admire the imposing, massive 12th-century Château de Chaintré, surrounded by terraces of pruned yew and an English-style park. After a small balcony road offering panoramic views of the Alps, you pass close to the Château de Vinzelles, consisting of the 17th-century Château de Layé and, just above it, the Vieux Château, a remarkable 11th-century edifice.
