Les Chemins de Collonge

Let yourself be seduced by the discreet charm of the village of Collonge-La-Madeleine.

- From the town hall, take route départementale 232 (the church is on your right) and turn onto the first tarmac road on the right, located between two buildings.

- Before you reach the pond of the old Collonge mill, fork right onto a dirt track that takes you past a large farm. When you reach the road, turn right uphill, then left at the first junction.

- The route passes over a plateau before beginning its descent into the Digoine valley; you come out on the departmental road near a house; follow it to the right and just after the Château de Frétoy turn right onto the small road which climbs towards Morlet. When you reach the meadow, fork right onto a gravel path. At the end of the track, turn left and you'll reach the plateau after about a kilometer. You'll come to the crossroads of the four paths.

- Take the small tarmac road to the right near the two waste containers (don't take the first road to the right): this soon becomes a dirt track of good viability. At the end (picnic area), take the tarmac road on the right and immediately afterwards the track on the left. This leads down to a pond and then to the small road leading to the village.

- If you turn right, this takes you back to the starting point after 1 km.
