Les Chemins d'en Haut

Take the D88, pass the grocery store and walk 50m before taking the path on the right (GRP and PR). After 1 km turn left (leave the GRP), go 200m. When you reach the D88, cross it to reach Varin. In the hamlet, pass in front of the cross and turn right to follow a path that goes up for 2km by the Ruée de l'enfer to the hamlet Les Miens. At the cross turn left on the small road. At the end of the hamlet take the small road on the right, you arrive again on the road. Cross the road and take the path in front of you, follow it for 1,5km to reach Montcimet. At the first houses, take the dirt road on the right and after 350m you arrive on the D88. Continue to the left for 250m then turn right. Follow the asphalt road, pass by the chapel. On the left, continue on the dirt road for 1km then turn right towards Orme de Brévoigne. Follow the path for 1.2km then turn right to go to Le Creux. Cross the hamlet and pass in front of the cross. After 50m turn right to join the road. Cross the road and take the path opposite for 1km. At the intersection, turn right at the cross, then go straight on for 1.3 km. This part is common to the GRP. Pass over the bridge of the island of Elba and turn right to take the steep path. Find the village, the starting point.
