Les Afforêts
- From the town hall, go down through the woods in the direction of the "Reserve" (water reservoir that was used to supply the locomotives).
- Go up towards the wood, arrive at a chicane, cross the pasture then another chicane. This small path will lead you to the hunters' hut. The circuit takes the path of the scrubland to arrive at the place called "les pierres piquées", name probably given to these rocks because of their more or less spongy aspect (sandstone). After the crossing of the road, it is important to follow the path marked "Simone Baudriot", very pleasant by its undergrowth.
- Continue on the Roman road, of which the pavement still remains in some places. The path goes down to Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a medieval city.
- When you arrive in the city, turn right into the rue de l'abattoir, direction Burnand)
- Then turn left (at the fire station).
- 50 m after the post "Le Colombier", a path opens up on the right passing not far from the "Tour des Archers", an old watchtower probably built in the 14th century.
- After the stream, the path goes up to the Mont Péjus and dominates Saint Martin de Croix with its pretty 11th century chapel.
- When you reach the road, turn left to find the town hall.
