Les 3 Auberges

- Go down the avenue in front of the Auberge du Cheval Blanc, turn right and follow the path near the small sports field.

- Cross the hamlet of Les Coulons, turn left at the exit, go down the path, cross the brook and go up to the road leading to the Cornilles farm.

- Take the road on the left and follow the path on the right leading to the hamlet of La Forge.

- Turn right, in front of the building, and climb the path which rises sharply and offers a beautiful view.

- Take the left-hand side of the municipal road, pass the town hall and the village hall of SAINT-MARTIN-D?AUXY.

- At Les Variots, follow the road to the right and then a path to the left.

- Go down to the ford of a stream and go up towards Les Baudots. MARCILLY-LES-BUXY at 421m altitude, the limit of the mining basin and of the Chalonnais region, was a place of passage before the creation of the express road (or N80).

- Cross the whole length of the village, follow the D69 for 1 km before turning right before the bridge over the RN80.

- Snake through the Gardelle woods, cross Precy and join the D977.

Turn left for 100 m, turn right, cross the hamlets of Reuil and Valotte.

- After the wash house, climb the path on the right, cut the road and climb the path on the left of the transformer.

- Turn left, go back down and take the path on the right that goes up quietly to Martrat.

- Find the starting point near the village inn.
