In front of the town hall, go up the D262, then straight ahead at the first crossroads (cross, hill 388) and left at the next crossroads. Cross the D262, to go straight on (hill 364). Cross the D114, to take the direction of Grand Laume and Petit Laume. Stay on the main road. After these farms, take the path on the right (statue of the Virgin in a grove in the meadow on the right). Pass on the dyke of the Cognières pond and follow it until the old mill of the Gué (visible wheel). Follow the path on the right which crosses the Braconne river, then right again until a tarred road which you take on the right. At the hamlet of Bas du Jeu, the road turns left, then after the pond again left and passes in front of the castle of Jeu. Continue on the road for 500m and turn right at the 1st path (VTT markings) to be followed at the edge of the wood. It joins a wider path to the right. It brings back to the D114 to be followed on the right until the 2nd crossroads. We find on the left the small road of Méchaux which brings back to the village.
