The second stage (29 km) starts in Verdun-Ciel, where the Saône and Doubs rivers meet, offering a remarkable natural setting. Along the way, the landscapes change between local crops and open spaces, where fields of blackcurrants, emblematic of the region, accompany the walker to the village of Demigny.
