Le Chemin des Chèvres
Discover the Brisecou waterfall, the Montmain farm, the Saint-Blaise washhouse and the Chemin de la Mine, with views over the upper town.
Depart from Pierre de Couhard parking lot.
- Opposite the church, take the left-hand path along the millstream and follow it for 1 km to the footbridge, which you cross.
- Turn left and after 75 m follow the yellow signs up the 100 steps to the forest road.
- Turn right and 100 m further on, a path climbs up on your left. Continue for 80 m, then rejoin the path via the steps on your left.
- After 600 m, turn right. Go downhill and cross the road, take the path opposite, and 100 m further on, turn right in the direction of Montmain.
- At the farm, take the left-hand path towards Saint Blaise. After 150 m, turn right and follow the Chemin des Chèvres for 2 km.
- Follow the road downhill and after the hairpin bend and the house, take the path downhill on the left. - --- At the bottom of the tarmac, take the 2nd street on the left. 200 m further on, at the park gate, follow the signs and go down Rue du Moulin Gamet, go straight on, at the end of the cul-de-sac, take a path, then turn right. Go up this path and take the track on the left, following it for 500 m up the millstream.
- Finally, cross the road and go up Rue de la Cascade, then follow the reach in front of the houses on the left to return to the starting point.
