La Rue des Maures
At the crossroads of Mathys, turn left and then left again on a dirt road. After the crossroads of Gaillards on the road to Vauban, turn right after the last houses. At the crossroads of Haut des Monts, continue straight ahead on a path that goes down and crosses the Monts stream, then go up towards Les Crots. Turn left towards la Pacaudière and le Fournet, then left on the D 113, for about 400 m. At la Cocardière, turn left, and left again towards the woods after the Rebutys farm. The path goes down to the ruisseau des Monts, at the place called Rue des Maures. When you reach the road, turn left. A ruinous tower, in the meadows, is all that remains of the ancient castle of Corson, demolished in 1868. At the crossroads marked with an ancient cross, turn right onto the Chemin du Grand Bois, opposite the Monts du Beaujolais (Les Echarmeaux). At the road (les Gonneaux), turn left to go up to the village.
