La carrière de Rampon

A discovery trail, signposted and accessible to all. Punctuated by interpretation posts and a landscape-reading table, it reveals the geological diversity of the area. Volcanic and granitic rocks formed 300 million years ago, sedimentary rocks bearing witness to the presence of the sea in the region, and a deposit brimming with the footprints of the ancestors of the first dinosaurs.
